July 5, 2021, Mumbai: Bollywood’s A-lister, Ranveer Singh has been roped in to present an upcoming show entitled ‘The Big Picture’. The show marks Ranveer’s Television debut as a show host.
Before Ranveer, several Bollywood actors like Shahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Arshad Warsi, Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan have hosted reality TV shows.
Amitabh Bachchan made his debut with one of the longest-running game shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati, better known as KBC. Throughout the years, not only has the show revived the megastar’s career but has also made him the face of KBC.
The Big Picture has a concept that is quite similar to that of KBC. In ‘The Big Picture’, Ranveer Singh will present images to the participants. There will be questions based on the shown images. The contestants can win a million rupees on correctly answering all the questions.
While KBC tests the general aptitude of participants and involves limited imagery and sounds, ‘The Big Picture’ will primarily focus on questions based on images. ‘The Big Picture’ will be aired on Colors TV and other online platforms.
Ranveer Singh was last seen in Gully Boy in the year 2019 and has been awaiting the release of his films, Sooryavanshi and 83. On the other hand, his film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is under post-production whereas film Cirkus will start shooting in a few weeks.
