New Delhi: The protesters are on the roads of Delhi and Punjab state nowadays and protests against the government decision. They have vandalized more than 1500 mobile towers allegedly in Punjab which disrupted mobile networks and telecom connectivity in the state.

The social activists and social workers expressed their views over the nature of the protest in recent times. Social activists believe that “Government not stopping protesters for the protest, but the way some anti-social elements damaging the public property, private property, and government property – it is wrong.”

We are not against the protests of any people and their rights to protests, but damage to any property should be criticized, social workers said.

Coronavirus pandemic already forced people to work from home and damage to the network tower disrupted online work. Some activists already say that the people who are involved in breaking the public property and burning the vehicle – are not protesters, but they are anti-social elements in the form of farmers who damage the image and respect of farmers.

“Attack on private offices, damage to the public property could create mistrust between common people of Punjab state. A risky atmosphere could produce fear in the minds of local people. A common serviceman may avoid his office and these things may reduce the business activities in the state. These activities may lead to an increase in the price of products and services in the future, social workers believe.

On the education system and study of children – social workers say that “Parents in Punjab may not allow their pupils to go to the school if some anti-element spread violence in the state. After the coronavirus pandemic – students are already waiting to restart their regular study so unexpected or unpredicted situations may prove wrong for the educational activities also.”

Some experts believe that business activities in Punjab may disrupt more than expectations if farmers will stop the transportations.
