New Delhi: The third most coronavirus-affected county – Brazil plans to allow vaccinated people to not wear masks. President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro on Thursday said that the “health minister was preparing a measure to no longer require face masks for people who have been vaccinated for the coronavirus or previously infected.”

According to a media report – A country located in South America – Brazil is at number two where most deaths were reported.

Bolsonaro opposed lockdowns and social distancing and in his speech he said “quarantines should be only for infected people.”

Bolsonaro has asked Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga for a study on the use of masks in Brazil. More than 480,000 Brazilians have died from COVID-19, the second-worst death count outside of the United States.

According to Brazil’s health ministry data, only 23.6 percent of Brazil’s population has received the first dose and just 10.2% have been fully vaccinated with two doses, according to health ministry data.

Brazil Based experts have advised people to do not to remove the face masks until coronavirus is gone. The entire world is afraid of the third wave and it could start from the most affected countries.
