New Delhi: After facing humiliating defeats in Galwan and Pangong, China s trying to open another front against India in Arunachal Pradesh border.
To disturb the Indian Army’s security activities at the border, China has increased the deployment of its troops at six areas along LAC near Arunachal Pradesh.
As per the information, there is tension in Longju, Bisa, upper Subansiri, Asapilla and Majha areas and China has also built a road near LAC in Arunachal Pradeshs’s Bisa. This is the place where India consistently monitors the activities of the People Liberation Army of China closely and this is the place where India and China fought war in 1962.
According to the sources, surveillance has been increased in 6 disputed areas and 4 sensitive areas along LAC in Arunachal Pradesh.
Now India and the world can notice that Beijing’s words and actions are not the same, but on the other side – Indian Army’s patrolling has been increased in several areas of Arunachal Pradesh to thwart any attempt of incursion by China.
China claims the Asapilla sector in its map and this place is strategically important area. This place is situated hundreds of feet above the sea level and this makes it tough for the Chinese Army to remain on top of the peaks of this sector in winters.
Meanwhile, the government on September 18 held a meeting to review the overall situation in eastern Ladakh including the country’s operational preparedness in view of China’s refusal to disengage and the fresh attempts by PLA to ‘Intimidate” Indian troops in the region.
