Vaccine Maitri initiative: Laos receives ‘Made in India’ vaccines
New Delhi: The Southeast Asian country Laos on Saturday received the ‘Made in India’ coronavirus vaccine. Under the Vaccine Maitri initiatives – the government of India exported the coronavirus vaccine to Laos.
Yesterday, Solomon Islands had received the Made in India Covid-19 Vaccines.
The New Delhi government has exported coronavirus vaccines to around 60 countries so far.
The External Affairs Minister at both houses on Wednesday said that “India has supplied vaccines made in India to 72 nations across geographies.”
Many countries in the world have a facing spike in coronavirus cases and many of them are going for lockdowns to curb the spread of the deadliest virus. India’s fight against coronavirus is praised by the world and many well-known organizations. According to the data – Laos reported 49 cases of coronavirus so far and claims no death.
According to the health experts – The government of India may export the more coronavirus vaccine to the nations where another spike is reported. Amid rising coronavirus cases in the world – India emerged as the global pharmacy.
