Amdavad: Yoga instructor from New York, USA – Sangeeta Vallabhan suggests some Yoga which are very helpful to reduce Anxiety and stress.
Sangeeta Vallabhan said that “Some poses of Yoga will definitely move people in the direction of reducing stress and anxiety, as well as any sadness or anger.”
People should go for the ‘Seated side bend’ Yoga. Sit on the floor with crossed legs. Place right hand on floor to right side of legs. Reach left arm up and overhead, bending from the waist to the right. Look up toward the sky, and hold for 3 to 5 breaths. Then switch sides.
‘Extended side angle’ is also good for the health and body, In this yoga people have to Stand with feet wide apart, right foot forward and toes pointing forward, left foot turned in about 45 degrees.
Bend right knee to 90 degrees, thigh parallel to floor. Lean sideways at the waist, bringing right forearm to right thigh or right hand to a yoga block set outside of right foot. Extend left arm straight up to the sky or alongside ear, opening chest. Hold for 3 to 5 breaths.
‘A warrior two’ angle also helpful to reduce the stress of mind and for that set your feet with wide apart, right foot forward and toes pointing forward, left foot turned in about 30 degrees. Bend right knee to 90 degrees, thigh parallel to floor. Hold for 5 breaths. Then switch sides.
Plank is one of the toughest and hard exercise and ‘Side plank’ also good for the health. For that place your right hand on the floor and direct your left hand on opposite direction and watch try to watch nails of your left hand. Hold for 3 to 5 breaths. Then switch sides.
