Mumbai: Actor Kriti Sanon took to social media on Tuesday to reveal the trailer of her upcoming film Mimi, scheduled for release on Netflix India on July 30.
The actor posted the 3-minute official trailer on her Instagram account.
It shows Pankaj Tripathi bringing Sanon a surrogacy offer for a foreign couple.
Though the trailer begins on a comical note, it showcases the journey of Mimi’s pregnancy and is replete with emotions, challenges, and family drama.
Sharing the trailer, Sanon wrote, “Mimi expected everything, except for this unexpected journey! Here is My Mimi for you! Watch the glimpse of her unexpected story with your family. #MimiTrailer out now.”
Netflix India also shared the trailer on Instagram with the caption, “Poori family ke saath intezaar rahega humein – iss unexpected khush-khabri ka. The due date is on 30 July, and we can’t wait!”
The film revolves around Mimi’s unexpected journey, how she deals with surrogacy, and the ensuing challenges.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock films, Mimi also features Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak, and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles.
