Mumbai: JioBusiness on Tuesday said it has introduced an integrated offering for micro, small and medium businesses (MSMBs) to digitally transform 5 million MSMBs in India by offering them connectivity at one-tenth of the existing price in the market.
In a statement, the company said it plans to empower MSMBs with integrated fibre connectivity and digital solutions. It will also collaborate with partners to offer easy-to-use, enterprise-grade digital solutions at no additional cost.
Its offer is based on three key pillars: (1) Enterprise-grade fibre connectivity that offers voice and data services; (2) Digital solutions that help enterprises manage and grow their business, and (3) Devices that enable leading digital solutions for MSMBs, Akash Ambani, Director, Jio, said.
The MSMBs, he said, are the bedrock of the Indian economy. Currently, in the absence of integrated digital services offering and the know-how to adopt advanced enterprise offerings, they are unable to leverage the power of digital technologies to run their businesses efficiently.
Now, JioBusiness will bridge this gap by providing integrated enterprise-grade voice and data services, digital solutions and devices, to small businesses. These easy-to-use solutions will help them run their business efficiently and compete with larger enterprises.
Currently, an MSMB spends between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000 per month towards connectivity, productivity and automation tools. “Today, we are taking the first step towards empowering small businesses by giving these solutions, along with our connectivity, for less than 1/10th the cost, starting below one thousand rupees per month.”
