Pandit Jasraj (born 28 January 1930) was an Indian classical vocalist, belonging to the Mewati gharana. His musical career has spanned more than 80 years and led to numerous major awards.

His performances of classical and semi-classical vocals have become albums and film soundtracks. Jasraj has taught music in India, Canada and the US. Some of his students have in turn become notable musicians such as violinist Kala Ramnath.

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) had named a minor planet between Mars and Jupiter after Pandit Jasraj ji in September, 2019.

Christened ‘Panditjasraj (300128)’, the minor planet 2006 VP32 was discovered on November 11, 2006, by the Catalina Sky Survey, a NASA-funded project based at University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Lab in Tucson, Arizona, that discovers and tracks near-earth objects. Panditjasraj was discovered by Mt. Lemmon Survey telescope at Mount Lemmon in the same state. The number 300128 is derived from Jasraj’s date of birth, January 28, 1930.
