The Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday, May 2nd said that India would not ‘negotiate’ with any country on terrorism or matters related to security of India.

“We welcome the decision on Masood Azhar – it’s a very important decision, in accordance with India’s position. Information was provided by India on Jaish-E-Mohammed and Azhar to panel members,” said MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar.

“We do not negotiate with any country on terrorism and on matters related to security of the country. China has already given its reason why the hold has been lifted,” Kumar added.
