Jammu and Kashmir: Two drones spotted at Kalu Chak military station

Srinagar: Defence Spokesperson on early Monday (June 28) said that the first Drone was spotted hovering near the Military Station at around 11.30 pm while the 2nd Drone was seen in the wee hours today at 1.30 am.

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two Drones were spotted at Kalu Chak military station in Jammu district during the intervening night of June 27 and 28.

On duty deployed Security forces fired several rounds on the hovering Drones following which Drones fled from the spot.

Earlier, yesterday two low-intensity blasts shook the Technical area of Jammu Air Force Station with the blast causing some damage to the roof of a building.

Two Drones are suspected to have been used in carrying out the attack on the Air Force Station. Police have already registered an FIR in this case and investigations are underway.

The Indian Security forces are on alert in Jammu and Kashmir, and taking all the necessary steps to prevent any unexpected activity.
