In the last and final phase of national election 2019 held on Sunday, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar was massively trolled after he made an appeal to voters of Bhopal to vote against BJP’s Pragya Thakur.

It was a funny to observe that the parliamentary constituency by which Pragya Thakur contested has already voted in the sixth phase of polls on May 12 last Sunday. This means Farhan is a tad too late in his political appeal. He was hence trolled massively on twitter and social media.

But after being massively trolled Farahan Akhtar has reacted by tweeting with a reply to such trolls.

Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to appeal to the voters of Bhopal to say no to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha candidate from Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, after she called Nathuram Godse, the assassinator of Mahatma Gandhi a “patriot”.

“Dear Electorate of Bhopal, it’s time for you to save your city from another full of gas tragedy. #SayNoToPragya #SayNoToGodse #RememberTheMahatma #ChooseLoveNotHate,” the actor tweeted.

Farhan was brutally trolled by Twitteratti for his gaffe. “Sir, it’s a bit early. Please retweet this in 2024,” one user wrote, while another tweeted, “Change your internet connection. Your tweets are taking 10 days to be published.”
