New Delhi: To protect the home from unfaithful neighbour China, Many Asian Countries like Japan, India and Taiwan are looking for the European and American fighter jets.

A Few weeks ago, Indian Air force added the five Rafale fighter jets to the squad and the Rafale plane is manufactured by the French company Dassault.

After India – Japan and Taiwan set to acquire F-35 fighter jets and F-16 ‘Vipers’ respectively. Indonesia also looks to procure Eurofighter Typhoons jets, which could be serious trouble for China.

According to various media reports (Including Indonesian media), Austrian Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner had accepted Indonesia’s plea to acquire 15 Austrian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoons and had planned to enter “concrete sales negotiations” with Jakarta.

Indonesia’s deal with Austria for the 15 twin-engine Typhoons fighter jets will boost the strength of Indonesian Air force and this deal could be the red signal for the Chinese navy in the South Pacafic China Sea.

As per media reports, Indonesian Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto had written a letter to his Austrian counterpart Klaudia Tanner offering to purchase the country’s entire fleet of 15 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets in July.

China knows very well that most of the South China Sea region as its sovereign territory has already been entangled in a spat with the United States, who has in recent times increased its naval presence in the region.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is already in touch with other nations which can join hands to counter China’s dominance and Indonesia’s addition of these fighters in their air fleet will help counter the Chinese threat effectively.
