New Delhi: Amid tension at India-China Ladakh border – Chinese soldiers had tried to cross the border at Sikkim and 20 PLA soldiers were injured by the Indian army.
The official announcement on Monday said that Chinese soldiers had tried to cross the border three days ago and were challenged by Indian soldiers in Naku La in North Sikkim, which resulted in a violent clash.
In a heavy clash – four Indian soldiers and 20 Chinese soldiers were injured.
Situation at Sikkim border is stable now but Indian armed forces are in alert mode and ready to counter any unexpected activities of the enemy nation’s army.
India and China held ninth round of military talks on January 24 to reduce the border tension created at eastern Ladakh.
Talks between the Indian and Chinese soldiers at Moldo opposite Chushul in eastern Ladakh sector – finished at around 2.30 am early Monday and lasted for around 15 hours.
India and China were engaged in months-long standoff in Doklam in 2017. Also, Naku La was one of the face-off sites between India and China, along with Ladakh last year.
India has reduced its relations with China in business, Trade and several sectors after PLA soldiers clashed with the Indian troops on June 15 last year – close to patrol point 14 in the Galwan valley of eastern Ladakh.
India may take more strict actions against China for its anti-India activities at the international border.
Indian international political experts have already expressed their views on China and its policies. They said that “India should not trust China again because China could break the trust anytime.”
